7 wsm 168 grain berger vld ?

Anyone have any load info for 7wsm I'm trying to use 168gr berger vld wtih RL25 powder. Looked for this combo everywhere I know and can't any info.

I wouldn't suggest RL-25 for a long range load as you will be changing things every time the temp changes. This powder is VERY temp sensitive as are all of the RL powders. They also vary considerably from lot to lot. I would try something like H-1000, N165, N170, or even H-4831. Retumbo might possibly work if you can get enough in the case??.......Rich

You need to look a H4831 SC. Throw away that R-25.

Try some vv560 and you will forget about any other powder.


Forgot to mention with a 2.860 COAL max is going to be around 68-69grs with the RL25. Definately start lower and work up as your gun may be throated differently.

H1000 will also work very well with that combo.
