Re: 6mm 105 and 107 velocity debate. How fast can they be pushed.
DocEd, I think you have nothing better to do than cause problems on my post. All I've done is say my prior 6x284 shot the 87grn V-Max at 3700 to 3750fps, and SOME of you guys act like I've committed a crime. I've agreed with some of your comments that the load might be a little hot for some rifles. However, in my rifle it was not hot or unsafe, and I worked up to that load.
Regarding your comment:( I, for one, will be thrilled when your project is completed).
Why do you feel the need to be sarcastic and make a comment like that, what have I done to you. There is no need for comments like that. I am sure there are people out there who like to here about my project, the changes, and the specs. I know I like hearing about others projects and changes they make to them. The last I checked this is a Long Range shooting site, not a comedy are sarcastic site. I am sorry I am excited about my project. I had to sell every last one of my rifles, and other items, a month ago do to job issues. However, since that time I've received another job, and I will be able to afford one nice custom rig, and thats why I am excited about this project. I know I have asked lots of questions and have posted the specs many times. However, when others ask questions about it, I like to keep them updated. If you want to make sarcastic comments, go do it some where else. If you want to challange me on a comment I make, than that's great, lets debate it, but keep the sarcastic remarks to yourself.
I value this site and those that give me great advice. I actually changed this project because the advice I received from individuals on here. I agreed with some of the individuals, that I was going in the wrong direction with my original project. So, I listen and agreed that they were right and I was wrong. I don't know everything, so I enjoy the debates and advice I get on this site. It's made me more knowledgeable about long range shooting, and I just plan love all the things that I've learned.
I guess what I am trying to say is, I have no problem taking constructive criticism and admitting when I am wrong. However, I don't like to be made fun of with your sarcastic remarks. This is supposed to be a fun and informative site, not a sight for SOME to be sarcastic.
If you don't have anything nice to say, or add to the topic, than please don't post anything on it.
I am not blowing a Gasket, I just don't like to open my post and see that someone like you is trying to be funny and then others chime in along with you. I don't do it to you, so please don't do it to me.
