RicB or Steve Shelp,

Who manufactures brass for the 6.5 swede?
What about RWS?

BTW Rick, Hope to see you again next summer. Remember, I still owe you a favor for the bullets. Thanks Michael

Winchester, remington, federal, RWS, lapua, norma, sako, hirtenberger, S&B etc.

The continental brands have the correct (larger)base size which may not work well with some US rifles which may have the standard 308 bolt face.

Re: 6.5x55

don t mix body base case diameter and rim diameter

6.5x55 have a bigger body base ( chambreing ) diameter far over the 0.471 of the 308 and Lapua and Norma match this dims

US made are smaller in body base , it s seem that is the same as 308 case and by the way rim is smaller too ( same as 308 ) and after fireforming in regular CIP / SAAMI chamber they look a bit "pregnant belly "

good shooting
