6.5x284 Reloading Recipe??????(brass,primer,powder,bullet???))

Hey guys

I`m new to reloading and i want to compare different loads for my 6.5x284!
Could u help me by writing down your reloading recipe for this caliber?

I have been doing a lot of research on this lately as this will be my next build, this is what I have found to be pretty common.

Lapua Brass
Federal 210m primer
H4350 working up from 44 grains maxing out in the 48-49.5 area

Bullets are 140 grain berger or amax, or 142 grain smk depending on use.

Load recipe will depend a great deal on throat length and angle,Brass used,etc.

A go to for me has been as follows.approach cautiously as mentioned earlier there are a lot of variations out there for the 6.5-284.

Brass:Lapua
Powder:H4350
primer:fed 210M
bullet:Jlk 140 vld
C.O.A.L. : 3.200" (this is approx .010" off touch with my reamer's throat and lead angle.)
Powder charge:49.0 gr
Velocity measured with Oehler 35P 10' from muzzle 100 rnd sample 2943 avg

I have two 6,5-284 rifles:

Cooper 52- Lapua Brass, Retumbo 59.0gr., Fed215, Berger or JLK 140/VLD's. 2965FPS. .075 off lands. .25-.5 MOA. 26" barrel

Savage LRH- Lapua Brass, H4831sc, 53.0gr., Fed LR Match primer, Berger 140VLD, 2940FPS, .072.off lands. .25-.5 MOA. 24" barrel.

Note: these are max loads in my rifles. Start a grain or two lower, especially if you are .025" or closer to the lands!

Like others pointed out. You can't just trust that someone else's load will be safe in your rifle. So, be sure to back down and work up.
