Hi everyone,

In my gunsmithing course in quebec I build a 375H&H mounted on a montana 1999 action, mcmillan barrel, 8oz trigger, and bedded on a richard's microfit benchrest style stock.

I had this rifle in my since 4 year's and only shoot 20-30 rounds trough the barrel. But now I want to start reloading this big boy!

So my question is, which bullet will be the best to get accuracy at long range and do the job on medium size game??

I think I will start with the hornady interlock 300gr bullet who have a b.c of .460.

If you have another idea for me go for it!!

Thanks a lot for your help! Can't wait to discuss with you!

p.s sorry for my mistakes, im french and my english is not so well!

The 260 Nosler Accubond will allow more velocity and maybe more BC, claimed 0.473.

The 260gr. Nosler Partition has a well earned reputation, the 270gr. Barnes TSX has a stellar reputation, and H4350 with Federal 215M primers does a wonderful job. I have no experience with the 300gr. bullets, but once again H4350 should more than do the job. I believe ADI 2209 is the equivalent designation for H4350 if that makes a difference for you.

Another powder that does very well, especially in the lighter bullets is RL15. Yet another powder that does well in most any bullet range in the 375 H&H is H4895, and I have found that for both of these powders Win LR primers does very well.

    Great Round!
