Can you get the 300 gr Accubond. I think it would be a great, light bullet option, in my opinion a better choice then the 260 as it will make this huge capacity burn more efficently but I have not seen anywhere where it is in stock and available.

The 300 gr Accubonds won't be available until the end of the year.

Re: 375 Snipe Tac...Barrel and Bullet tests

For those interested in the solid projectiles; things are really starting to click now. There is a bullet maker here in the states that is making a solid for .224, .338, .375, and possibly .408. The .375 has two versions right now. One will be the shorter version and will stabilize in a 11.5 twist. The other will require an 8 twist. I should be testing the ones from Germany and these made in the states within 3-4 wks. The BC of the German and fast twist domestic bullets should be off the charts. There is a lot of unknowns at this point but i am very excited. Let the games begin!!!!!

Oh. I would like to say I have no dog in this hunt except i like to shoot and push the limits. I have nothing to gain from this project and the only thing I will lose if these things fall on their face is the cost of the projos and an 8 twist barrel fron Lawton.

Re: 375 Snipe Tac...Barrel and Bullet tests

Lazylabs, the Viking is made in Germany, this is the wierd one that is pionted on both ends. The cost on the 300 I have is a little over two dollars each. I dont think the gentleman that is making the domestic bullets wants to come out of the closet until they have been tested, he is sending me a few of the ones made for the 8 twist barrel and we will see if they need to be tweaked. He seems to be very interested in developing a superior system moreso than simply selling bullets. He has told me they will be cheaper than the German bullet. Also he is very close to testing a new case to push the new pills in. There is work being done on the propellant and he is hoping to have the entire system at the SHOT SHOW. There are a few more people getting close to testing all of these banded projectiles so there should be a lot of feedback in the next couple of months.
