Re: .338 rocky mountain bullets?

I looked over the site and given the numbers and specs, would guess that they are the old Wildcat bullets. I do not know that for a fact but it would appear that way.

Re: .338 rocky mountain bullets?

OK guys, sorry I don't get on this site to often. The 338 bullet we are going to offer are going to be awhile before we can start production. We just finished the testing on the .375, Bobby Lawton did most of the testing with his .375 cheytac and was very happy with the results.
The .375 bullets will be released next week and were very excited to get them out. Or web site Home will have all the tech data for the bullets.
Thanks, George

George,

Thank you for participating. Will you be making any smaller calibers than the .338? If so, would you be willing to tell us your plans?

Thanks, Steve

Do you have expansion testing information for the .338 RBTATs? What other .338 weights (and requisite barrel twists) will you plan on making?

Will report back what I hear...
Once again, thanks. I look forward to hearing the replies.

Re: .338 rocky mountain bullets?

From email from Rocky Mtn. Bullets:

"Unfortunately the .338 bullets are a ways off before we will be able to start production. I'm the only die maker in our shop and only make the dies in my spare time. We are so behind in our bullet orders at this time I just don't have any spare time to make the dies.
The attached pic is of prototype bullet we did the expansion test with. This bullet expanded to over twice the cal. and retained 80% of the original weight, really great hunting bullet not to mention very accurate. Current price is on our web site along with all the tech data."
