307 cal?????

What chamberings are there for 307 cal? I have no expeence with this CAL. Can anyone tell me anything about it. I have a chance to buy a barrel with this bore diamiter but I just dont know enough.

I beleive it is a rimmed 308 winchester if I am not mistaken.

What about bullet selection? Can I use 30 cal bullets? If so the barrel is only stamped 307 that does not mean is cant be a 300 win right?

As stated above, it is a rimmed 308, for use in the late model Win 94 rifles and TC Encore pistols. It uses the same projectiles as most other 30 Cal. rifles.

about all americam 30 cal rifles fire a .308" projectile, you would be fine using a .307 diameter barrel for them.
