300RUM, what would you buy?

I pulled my box out and it is indeed 3.820"

The bottom metal is the problem. In a 700 action, the 3rd round in the magazine sits partially up against the bottom metal cut out and this allows for 3.700 max.

Sorry for the confusion.

If you only used it as a 2 round magazine, then 3.800 should work ok.

It doesnt look like there is enough meat on the bottom metal to make it 3.820.
Long range shooting is a process that ends with a result. Once you start to focus on the result (how bad your last shot was, how big the group is going to be, what your buck will score, what your match score is, what place you are in...) then you loose the capacity to focus on the process.
