I had the same question about a month ago and sent an email to the people in product sales, this was there answer.
"I'm sorry....I do not have a listing for the 338 300 gr A-Max bullet."
I didn't expect any less. I don't know who to talk to over there.
Hopefully it comes out soon, I'm not holding my breath though.

Labor Day weekend, one of the Hornady techs attending the IBS 1k Nationals and I had a discussion on the 338 Amax. He said they were waiting on finishing putting the required OSHA guards around the machine and it would be up then.
His thoughts then, were they would be out on the street before XMAS.

I hope they don't come to soon as I just ordered another 500 count box of 300 grain SMK's. That should last me until Christmas anyways.
Suley would like to see the 300 grain A-Max though.
