30-378 which Berger bullet for 1000 yds?

i currently shoot the 190 at 3100fps....but thinking maybe i should try the 210 or even the 230 berger...this is out of the stock 26" accumark thanks for any advice

190 at 3100 fps? you are loaded waaay down. I am shooting 190 SMK out of a 300 wsm at 3050. I say load that sucker up as hot as you can with 230's and put all that powder to use

Sir you are way soft. I shoot 190 SMK at 3300 out of a 28 in 300 Ultra-mag.

In all my testing it is without a doubt. Have you read what Bob Beck has been posting about this bullet? Might want to do a search. He is whacking and sacking game to well past 1000 yards. Plus we have also used the 230 to 1000 in a 300 win pushing them to 2775 fps. Results were awesome in some wind that was horrid. I can not imagine how this bullet would not be steller in the 30-378. We have shot some in a 30-378 and all looks great, this next hunting season I will have more results. But for now that is all have, unless Bob and Eric take me with them on their next trip to Africa or New Zealand.
