.30-378 - Berger or AMax?
I have a Weatherby Accumark in this caliber and wondering if I should try some 210gr Berger or 208gr A-Max? I have only used the 200gr Accubond in it so far. Has anyone tried either of these two bullets in the .30-378?

Yes, I have took lots of game with the 210 Berger in my 30-378's. They have never failed me at any distance. The pic in my signature is my Accumark and the elk was taken with a 210 berger. That being said the 208 a-max shoots very well too. But I prefer the Berger on game.

a 210 , 98 gr of H-1000 and a mag primer works in many 30-378's
let us know how she shoots.

i agree with Broz. I shoot the same load in my .30-378 accumark. 210 berger 98 grains of H1000 and fed 215m primers. nothing has ever taken a step. all i have shot is white tail and hogs wth mine though never any elk. good luck

How did you find the bullet on whitetail? Was there much meat damage/loss? I just ordered some 210gr for the 30-378 and some 190gr for my 300 Weatherby. Will post my results when the weather gets better and I can get out to the range.

Punch them in the slats. I don't save ribs anyway. But if you hit them in the shoulder you will loose most of the area hit. But then that is typical of any bullet from a 30-378 on deer.
