.30 378

Ok,

Does anyone have any good sources for a .30 378 barrel preferably a BBL also a Muzzel break to go with it? I would either like to mount it in a mauser or enfield action.

Thanks
Chris Reed

I spoke with Dan Lilja on the phone today. He recommended a 1-10 twist in either a 5 or 6 contour. Check out Lilja online, I think they make one of the best barrels around.

Is Krieger making barrels for Weatherby?

Edited:
I just copied what is below from the Krieger website

"Q: Why is there some confusion that we might do button rifling?

A: In 1999, we started another barrel company Criterion Barrels that manufactures button rifled barrels for the O.E.M. market. These barrels are not directly for sale to the general public. Recently there have been some magazine articles written regarding this company which has caused some confusion. Be assured that when you order a Krieger Barrel, you are getting a single-point cut-rifled Krieger Barrel."

So it appears the barrels are button rifled not cut-rifled.
