.276 exp

Hey guys, ran across a really nice converted mauser. Maked .276 exp. on the barrell. Can't find anything about it. Anybody have any knowledge to share,

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess the EXP means experimental. Better known as the .276 penderson. An old milatry expirement that never took off

"The .276 developed for the Pattern 13 was an experemental round only and not adopted. (ie Not used), the .276 Pedersen was a US development much later. "
