I bought my daughter a 25 wssm in a browning micro hunter simply because it fit her, and ballistics are pretty much the same as 25/06. I load 117 gr sierra pro hunters for it, a couple of years ago, she killed a cow elk at 216 yards with two holes in and out. I was impressed. Just a thought.
