243 Win 1 in 12 twist barrel and 95 grn bullets?

243 Win 1 in 12 twist barrel and 95 grn bullets?

Will the 243 Win with a 1 in 12 twist barrel shoot 90 to 95 grn bullets accurately? Hunting altitude from 1500ft to 10,000 ft.

Contact the manufacturer and see what the recommend, other than that all you can do is try shooting them and see if your barrel stabilizes them. For the Berger 95grn VLD's they recommend a 1:9 twist...

the 88 berger and the 87 hornady both shot great out of my hart 1 -12. have not tried the others

My gun smith told me that my 1-12 will shoot 80g max correctly
