Re: 200 grain accubond BC
Well .588 isn't to shabby for a hunting bullet. .481 isn't great, but for a solid base design and if your not shooting past 600 yards or so, they'll still get the job done.

Re: 200 grain accubond BC
Fred,
The 200 gr Accubond is my favorite hunting bullet for the 300 Ultra, it is wonderfully accurate and does a number on game out to 1000 yards. The .588 BC is a fair number it does not compare to the heavier matchkings but makes up for it's smaller BC with huge bullet terminal ballistics. I recommend them to anyone with a 300 Ultra that I build in a packing weight rifle. |

Re: 200 grain accubond BC
I would believe that PT stands for Partition, and .481 is it's BC. AS the others said, the Accu-Bond is .588.

Re: 200 grain accubond BC
Yea, looks like a funny way to reference the different bullets .. i.e.
BT/AB(.507) PT(.474) Means Ballistic Tip® / AccuBond® same BC Partition® is PT .. which has alower BC and they are trying to indicate this in a paracryptic manor ( I may have just made up a new word). Good Luck Mark |
