Thanks UncleB, I was hoping the 105grn A-Max could take a little more velocity. However, from what everyone has said, the A-Max does not do well over 3200fps. I will either use the 105grn Scenar or the 107grn Matchking when shooting out to 1000 yards.

I've had good luck with the 87grn V-Max at long range, so I will stick with that bullet for shots out to 800 yards. Will the 1-8.5 twist barrel shoot the 87grn V-Max? Many say the 87grn V-Max shoots very well out of a 1-8.5 twist barrel. What is your take.

Thanks

Wildcat,
The 87 gr V-Max shoots fine in my 1-8.2 twist. 3750 fps but it was cool out and I had shiny spots on Lapua brass. I have since started shooting heavier bullets as that is what I built the rifle for.
Thanks
Lance
