Zeiss 6-24x72

These are large spendy optics. Has anyone test drove one of these big Zeiss scopes.

Is this getting too large for a rifle, and really I'd like to know if it's worth the hard $$$$$$$. Maybe it's too much of a good thing.

I studied one at the 2006 Shot Show. It was magnificent, but, of course, as you noted, the price is quite daunting.

Wealthy Germans probably buy them to hunt lederhosen (or something) in the dark interior of the Black Forest.
