Unless you are used the angled neck from past military useage I'd go with the striaght. The one hard thing with angled, especially for hunting is getting used to finding game without looking at them but looking down and trying to located them.
I use the Swarovski 80mm STS and love it. I'm not a birder but they use optics probably 10x more than we do as hunters and the Swarovski always ranks near the top.
