Re: vortex rangefinder??

I asked the same question on a different forum a couple weeks ago. To summarize the thread response from theo ne person who had one, it was a good rangefinder. This person said they had a Swarovski and a Vortex, and at that moment he was ranging his mail box 967yds away and the Swaro and Vortex were registering within 1 yd of each other. He also said that as far as the speed of how it worked and the illumination levels on it are good also. I guess it sounds like it could be alright to me???????????

Kinda what I thought. I have some other Vortex gear and if there is anything I can really say about it, it would be that usually they perform better than where their price point puts them. Plus, with their warranty there is very little risk to the product. I would buy a Leica if I had the cash, but who know I guess. This could be a good one too.
