I'm not even looking for a new scope and this thread has me confused which way i should go.........:P lol

Keep in mind the animals we shoot for food and display are not bullet proof. Contrary to popular belief, they bleed and die just like they did a hundred years ago. Being competent with a given rifle is far more important than impressive ballistics and poor shootability. High velocity misses never put a steak in the freezer.

    I'm running a 20 MOA base right now, and 2600 FPS is very doable with my set up...starting to think the 65 MOA of elevation isn't the problem I first thought

    I pretty much decided on getting the Viper, but in SFP instead of FFP....don't feel like paying an extra $100 for it when I can use the subtends they give and do the math pretty easily for different power settings
