Using mildots for hold over

Is their a formula for using mildots for hold over on a target ? For example 14 inch target takes 3/4 of a mildot
14/36 =.38888 x 1000 =388.88
388.88/.75 = 518.5 yards
Is their a easy way to figure out how many inches a mildot would be in hold over . You may know what your bullit drop is for that range , if you new that a mildot is equal to so many inches it would be a fast way of getting a shot and still aiming straight at the target just 1 mildot up or what ever the case may be .

Re: Using mildots for hold over

1 mil = 3.6 in @ 100 yards
7.2 in @ 200 yards
10.8 in @ 300 yards
14.4 in @ 400 yards
18.0 in @ 500 yards
21.6 in @ 600 yards
25.2 in @ 700 yards
28.8 in @ 800 yards
32.4 in @ 900 yards
36.0 in @ 1000 yards

Maybe this will help you out, other than that the MilDot master can do this a lot easier as proclaimed on here in a few other posts.
