Are Sightron scopes US made and are they as good as Leupold whom the top models seem to be aimed at. Thanks

Japaneze maded.
I owned 1 SII 6.5-20x50MD Side Focus, and are not bad. Are somewere on mid upper end value for the money.
The glases are ok, not very sharp, and If you are crank to maximum power you will see darker images through the scope. at 16 is OK all day around.

Thanks for the info guys, i think i'll stick with the Leupolds then.
