That would be correct if you were using MOA, and you would click from there to one minute and on up, on your second rotation the "0" would be interpreted as "10" minutes.
Sounds like you think you are using a BDC dial that is marked for yardage instead of minutes. On a BDC dial, if the "1" represents one hundred yards and so on, your zero of 100 yds should be set on the "1" not "0", i don't know why they would have engraved a 0 on the turret, I guess they want you to be able to dial from 0 yards to 100 yards.
Those are the two types of dials, sounds like you could be interpreting a MOA dial as yardage(BDC) dial, i don't know, you would have had to send in your load and elevation info to get a BDC dial, engraved with your specific loads yardage drops, did you do that? I don't like BDC due to their limitations and inacuracies in different conditions, they are not exact like MOA is no matter where you are. One minute does not equal 100yds, your dial has a zero on it so I'm thinking you might be confused about the setup you are using.
