TPS Rings/ Bases

Has any one used any products from TPS?

We really like the TPS rings and bases. The big problem we have had with them was getting them. I have had some on order for 6 weeks now and they still dont have them in. Im still waiting on my gun to be built so I have some time. I hope I dont have to cancel my order and go with some others.

I have used their rings for years. Not their base. I carry the rings here in the LRH Gear Shop.

Im looking for the steel rings. From what I see you only carry the Alum. rings right.

Your scope tube is aluminum, so you should use aluminum rings. The base really does not matter as long as it is a quality aluminum or steel.

How did you come to this conclusion? Not trying to argue but if you are referring to the assertion that the scope and rings should be of the same material due to differing expansion-contraction rates for steel and aluminum, that argument has pretty much been proven wong. For the original poster, i have had good experience with TPS rings, but the only time I tried to use one of their bases, I got a bad one. It was a 20moa base and had a severe bow in the base, nowhere near straight.
