When you go from the 8-32 to the 10-50 in the sightron you lose 20 MOA of elevation. 8-32 has 70 MOA the 10-50 has 50 MOA.Depending on the range your talking about shooting and the caliber you gonna be using this could be an issue.
Since I had the 8-32 I have not hunted a day yet where I felt I could have cranked it up beyond 32x.
I now Nightforce has a 12-42 if I'm not mistaken but I'm not sure what the click values are.
The reviews of the Sightron 10-50 don't sound real hot.
32x is plenty for max I just don't want less. I can't get 1/8 clicks in a NF and SF. A canted based would resolve any elevation issues I'd have. I'm just piecing together my next gun a 338-408 improved of some sort.
Now I just need a good solid spring to fund the build!

Sightron added a bunch of new versions of their scopes... Thought you'd know about this. Exactly what you want, I don't like the target dot so much but I bet they have different reticles too. 1/8moa, 8-32x56, SF, etc.
