Tasco spotting scope????

Before people start bashing, I own a Savage 10fp-sr .308 with a vortex viper PST 6x24x50 and the range I am a member only goes to 300yds. There are places I can shoot out to 500-1100 but those are not an every day thing and the guys I shoot with at those distances have the high end Vortex spotting scopes
My question will hopefully be answered by those who have either owned or used this spotting scope. A local store has the Tasco 20x60x60, normally $100, on clearance for $36.
Question: since my normal range only goes to 300y is this very inexpensive spotting scope good enough to use out to that distance?

You will have trouble seeing holes in paper unless lighting is ideal. Like Sully said, save your money and buy something better later......
