Has any one used one? how does it compare to the leica 1200? is the beam width the same or smaller?

Re: swarovski 1500 range finder

Totally depends on the sun - bright days I get about 55-60 % or 6-700 yards, not much more than my Leica 1200. Usually get longer readings with the Swarovski. Generally try to do some vegetation or rocks instead. Have done a coyote at 1100 on a cloudy day, got three good readings.
Bottom line is superb picture, good laser performance considering we are very restricted as to power, very nice instrument. Went through first battery in about three months but used it a lot.
