I have the 15x80 Steiners with the compass, and they are light weight, bright, and sharp.

Yes... the compass model has the ranging reticle. It is calibrated in mils, same as mildots, NOT degrees like most other bins.
They work well.
The compass is very nice if you go deep off the roads, and need map bearings.

Yup, workie the same. The lines are 5 mils apart. Use the same formula to calculate the range.

The reticle doesn't bother me a bit.
