Sighting in a scope

I recently purchased a Zeiss conquest scope for my DPMS SASS 308. I mounted the scope and will be getting to a range to sight in the scope. Can anyone suggest a video tutorial on proper sighting in techniques. I plane on target shooting, from 100 to 700 yards.

Re: Sighting in a scope

I dont know of a video, but it really doesnt require one. When your making adjustment after your first shot, just tell the scope what you want the bullet to do. If you need to move the bullet left 3 inches, dial left 3 inchs

Re: Sighting in a scope

Vortex optics has some nice U-Tube video's that explain the procedures in depth. www.vortexoptics.com You'll find them on their website. Applies to all scopes.

What is a DPMS SASS anyway???
