Russian Military Non-Eye safe Laser???

Back in 2002 or 2003 there was a guy on this site posting about a Non-Eye safe russian military range finder. I think he was saying cost was around 8 grand. Any one remember this? I think he may have been a friend of Len Backus? Cant find anything when I search. Thx

I think you are a few years too late, as these have pretty much dried up.
