Yes I work for TPS,
I'm trying to see what the interest would be for these type of rings....
I guess it should of been more of a poll than post.

Re: Rotary Dovetail Rings?

PHIL

Duel Dovetail are the most troble free of all rings ( In my
opionion ) if they are well made .

And once they are installed there are no moving parts to
loosen up.

In the old days scopes only had about 10 MOA's of windage
so adjustable windage bases were nessary.

Now most good quality scopes have 40 MOA of windage ajustment so Duel dovetail and rail type mounts are
ok.

I have had trouble with the cap screw's breaking or coming
lose and the clamp screw's on rail type losening up so
by going to duel dovetail this potential problem is solved.
especially on big bores with no muzzle break's

Locktight all scope base screws and you should not have any
problems.

Just my two cents
J E CUSTOM

PS The rings look realy good

Re: Rotary Dovetail Rings?

Most of the long range shooters I think prefer a tapered base of 20 MOA or more and that is normaly a Picatiny rail type base..........Will a Dual Dove Tails accomplish this?
