OK rookie question here. Just wondering how magnifacation effects the reticle say on a nightforce 5.5-22 npr-1 . If I have it on 10 power and I am aiming with the sixth hash down will I have the same poi as exact same aim point on the sixth hash on 22 power? thanks
The Nightforce is a secound focal plane scope, this means that the reticle is affected by the power settings. The hash marks will be 1 MOA apart on 22 power which is where the reticle is caliberated.A FFP plane scope will allow the calibration of the reticle to remain the same on any power..
