Refinish or recondition a Zeiss

Hello,

I've got a well used Zeiss VM/V 3x12x56, 30MM and I am very happy with it.

The question is will Zeiss or anybody else refinish or recondition the thing at a reasonable rate?

Unfortunately, I have been rough with it, and now I want to put it on a new rifle and it looks like crap?

If I refinish it will that void the lifetime warranty? I went to the Zeiss web site, but it was in German.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
