Monark or Elite 3200?

Hi guy.

My old scope died last week( bushnell buckHorn 4x buy 15 year a go !!!).
Im looking for Elite 3200 or a Monark(midle range one). Peapole y know push my for the monark for clariti issue and stronger hold of the setting. Is that true? Y fond the 3200 at beter price than the monark (about 120$ lest).
My shot thend to be short but the long range shooting start to get me so dont want to make a bad chose. What would you do?

Re: Monark or Elite 3200?

I have both a Monarch and an Elite in similar mag ranges(4-16 vs. 5-15), and in my experience, the Monarch is noticably brighter in low light hunting situations, and on the bench compared side by side. Both have been good scopes, but I prefer the Nikon.

Nikons are too. Most of the mainstream optics are for that matter.

Third Generation Shooter Supply (sponsor here) Has 3200's on sale for $133. That would settle the deal for me. I put one on my go to rifle and love it.

Re: Monark or Elite 3200?

My understanding is that the Monarch is on par, if not a hair better, that the Elite 4200. The Elite 3200 is equivalent to the Nikon Buckmaster. Both the Buckmaster and the Elite 3200 are decent scopes for the money, but you are much better off going with the Monarch or saving for the 4200. I myself am going ofr the Monarch as it has the edge on brightness, has mil-dot, is lighter and cheaper than the 4200. Goodluck!
