having used both the MOA and the Mil system of range estimation, i much prefer the Mil system,
like has ben said, either will work, but it makes sense to use the mil system when ranging in meters and adjusting in 10ths or a mil on the scope.
Ive been working with S&B a fair bit and on the cards is an MOA reticle for use in thier MOA adjustable scopes.
It just so happens that a Miliradian corresponds nicely to the upper torsoe size of a mans body.
it also correcponds nicely to the 25cm depth of body of a roe deer. red are about twice that dept, also corresponding nicely.
