Would like to kill something at 1000yds, but I am a believer of practicing at 1200 or more to prepare for 1000.

I would like a setup that gives me 50moa of useable elevation. My current svope gives me about 57. Like the PSTs but would have to rig some different rings than my current
Install a 10-15 or 20 MOA EGW rail under the scope.....then you'll have LOTS of elevation

Yeah, I am coming to the realization that my scope selection is pretty limited without a rail. Never been much of a fan of the rail I guess, I could always go with the defensive edge 20moa's if that was the case.

Is there any advantages/disadvantages of a rail?
