Leupold\'s new VX-L line

Anybody checked out leupolds new line of rifle scopes? I will have one of these in the 6.5-20x56mm an the varmint retical.. http://www.leupold.com/products/vx-l/main.html

Never got a chance to check them out as that line didn't last very long. I suspect they have been rebadged and are now sold as the VX3-L. Cabelas was blowing out the VX-Ls and they might have a few left. The reviews on them seemed very positive, if I was buying a 50mm obj scope that's the way I would go.
