Are Leupold M1 turrets waterprooof?

Greetings,
I am considering having turrets put on a Vari-X III and wanted to know if anyone that has done this knows if they are waterproof. I have the target turrets on a VX-III and they have a seal.

If not, I think the target turrets may be the way to go.

Thanks,
Shane

Absolutely. I had them put on my vx-3 and they work great. O-ring seal on the dial itself that ride inside a collar. Am sure there are a few more seals there
