Kowa Highlander

Has anyone looked through these? They are quite expensive but may be just the ticket for high end big eyes. http://www.camcor.com/cgi-bin/bcatal...&id=1048869325

Re: Kowa Highlander

We use them on the Army Marksmanship Unit Service Rifle and Long Range teams. We use both the 24X and 32X eyepieces. At 1,000 yards you don't just see mirage, but layers of mirage above the ground. The Prominar lenses give the best picture.

These have pretty much replaced the Unertl 100mm Team Scope for the primary teams.

Re: Kowa Highlander

Sorry about changing directions, but have been wondering about the best really big optics and found the Russian glass at http://secure.sovietski.com/cgi-bin/Sovi...ct/View/203902. Anyone seen them and how do they compare with the Kowa? About $500 cheaper.
