I promised a friend of mine who reps IOR scopes I would not bring up my past experiences any longer since I've sold all my IOR scopes.
All I'll say is the reps that sell IOR products are very good, great guys and try to support their products like they should. However, when you have a warranty issue that requires having the scope serviced it becomes the decision of Val as to what he will or won't do. Some folks get great service, others have extremly disappointing experiences. I've had good expericences and two very poor experiences with my IOR scopes and Val. I'm not sure Val understands nor cares about the value of good customer service.
I really liked my IOR scopes, as they had great glass and function. Sorry, I won't say anymore.
Distance is not an issue, but the wind will make it interesting!
