If you want the IOR, then join Int BR shooters for $40 includes subscription to Precision Shooting Magazine ($36).

Chris Gilchrest at redmtnjoe@aol.com is giving huge discount to IBS members. I am ordering the 16X for $760 as compared to $899 from SWFA.

As for an illuminated reticle, they don't have one out and I'm not sure what new products they have in the works.

Jeff, I'd really like to hear more about your unhappiness with the IOR. I'm looking to make my first long range scope purchase and was leaning towards the IOR. Thanks

Re: Jeff in TX, question about the E.X.O.T.I.C. USS rifle scope....

Boman,

I promised a friend of mine who reps IOR scopes I would not bring up my past experiences any longer since I've sold all my IOR scopes.

All I'll say is the reps that sell IOR products are very good, great guys and try to support their products like they should. However, when you have a warranty issue that requires having the scope serviced it becomes the decision of Val as to what he will or won't do. Some folks get great service, others have extremly disappointing experiences. I've had good expericences and two very poor experiences with my IOR scopes and Val. I'm not sure Val understands nor cares about the value of good customer service.

I really liked my IOR scopes, as they had great glass and function. Sorry, I won't say anymore.
