I don\'t plan on damaging my nightforce, but...
After reading an atricle about how tough the NXS is ,I was just wondering if anybody knows how my benchrest model measures up to the NXS in durability.

Hey,
I have a benchrest model. 5.5-22 and have pummeled the crap out of it on mountain hunts. It has been dropped, banged, and beaten up and I have NEVER had to readjust a setting. I hope that answers your ??

Not sure if the tube construction is the same or not--something tells me on older models no, but the best deal is to call Jeff at Nightforce--nice fella`, and he'll give you the "real" scoop.
