The reticle in the Huskemaw has no hack marks on the lower stadia line...just horizontal for windage. They have specially tuned BDC knobs that are calculated for one bullet at one speed and an estimated altitude. You laser the target, dial the BDC a little past the mark and then backs up the dial to the right point and shoot. So if you do the Huskemaw scope you will have to work up a load or decide on a good factory load, chrono it and send that data along with the temperatures you will be hunting in and the elevation above sea level and they will make you a BDC knob for that load...I think that the elevation is good for approx 2000 ft. higher or lower and 20 degrees either way ( but they will tell you all this when you buy the scope and you can buy several knobs for around $85 each if you plan on different loads or different elev., etc). A bit of work, but when it is all done, the system does work...Good shootin! 30-338 ps
Kenton Industries will do the same thing for other scopes.. I have the Long Range Hunter on a Lapua and It does work well! And Leupold will make special BDC knobs for their scopes...There..I hope I have corrected my error...Thanks Sendero Man 30-338
