Got my new glass this week!

It finally arrived Wednesday. Very clear glass. Everything is solid. I'm glad I went with this instead of a S&B. There is only starlight outside, and I can still see lightly colored objects several hundred yards away. I like the gen II mil-dot, but it gets a little thick at 15x. Still waiting on my Badger rings, and my rifle to get finished at the smith.

Because I would have went with a PMii 3-12. That gives me 3x more magnification. This doesn't tunnel when you turn it down to 3x. If i'm not mistaken this has a larger field of view thru the entire range. The placement of the illumination knob. 28 mrad of elevation. And I got it for $600 less than I could find any pmii double turn for. Im sure I would have been happy with a S&B, but I think this is better.

Re: Got my new glass this week!

You won't be disappointed with the Premier. I have been runnung one now(5-25x) on a 7 wsm LR rig for about 3 years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. One difference between the S&B and Premier which could be seen as a negative is that the Premier seems to have a slightly smaller eye box so your eye doesn't have as much vertical or horizontal room to move. This difference is VERY MINOR but I am not the only one to notice.

My shooting buddy has a few S&Bs and he was also very impressed with the Premiers looks turrets, glass...
