DIY cat tail or switchview for scopes, 2 for 20$

Actually, considering the price, it's not a bad idea. I know Vortek wants an arm, leg and finger for theirs.

So, who makes the SWFA scope? We know thery don't. They don't make anything. Is it a rebadged Hawke or maybe a BSA or it can't be a Leupold but it might be a Nikon because Nikon's have miserable adjusters.

Gonna get some of those thingies and give 'em a try. No not the rubber ducky parallelax cover, the mag lever thingie.

SWFA says they're made factory direct for them- no middle men. Jap glass & robust construction without a marketing budget. I love mine. The parallax is stiff, but I like that- it doesn't "self-adjust" in the pack. The SWFA scopes I've had have been tough, accurate, and seem to like being rode hard & put away wet.

I've tried the coasters on a few scopes. "60% of the time it works all the time..." If your power ring is anything but cylindrical, it might not stay on (falcons, some vortex's, etc that have power rings that taper or are rounded). Hard to resist given the price though- they do work great on the scopes they fit.
