Re: Browning A bolt target .308 with Sightron S-III 6-24x55

The stock is from browning. It comes standard with the target model. It's a great stock. The rifle weighs 15 lbs with the scope mounted. 28 inch heavy bull barrel. 14 oz triger from factory. Browning left nothing out. I got the rifle on sale for $1350.00. I have been told by many experienced shooters that for the money it's an excellent 1000 yd rig. Can't wait to shoot it more. It's hard to find good ammo right now so I'm only shooting a little at a time. Can't wait to get a reloading set up.

The rifle came straight from browning with the adjustable comb.

I don't see how the cheek piece adjusts. Could you explain or show some pics?

There is a little hole in the butt stock through the recoil pad that an allen wrench fits into. You just loosen the set screw with the allen wrench. Adjust the cheek piece, and when you have it where you want it tighten it back up and done. It adjusts up, down, left and right. You can see the hole in the attached photo.
