binocular recomendationzeiss and bausch and lomb)

hey everyone im here to pick your brains again. i was talking to my dad the other day and picking his brain about some optics because i am looking for some new binoculars and he mentioned that he deals with bausch and lomb and zeiss optics in his business and told me to figure out which pair i could use. so out of these to brands what models would everyone recommend and why. i am not a true long range hunter yet but am trying my hardest to make it up there. right now most shots i take are under 350 yds with some reaching out to 400 and soon hopefully longer. the majority of my hunting will be done in fl but we are planning a trip to texas soon and also to upstate ny and possibly Wyoming. i am looking to purchase a set of binoculars that will both satisfy my current hunting abilities and needs but will also allow me to grow. also funds are not unlimited so i would prefer the price tag to be on the lower side of both of these brands. let me know what you guys and gals think and if you need more info please ask specific questions as i am not the best at describing my own needs but with some direction may be able to lend more information. once again thanks everyone and love the forum

Hi

If weight is not a problem, look at the Swarovski 15x56 SLC they will get you there or the new 12x50 Swarovision. Vortex also makes very good bino's in a 15x50 and 15x56. The same goes from Minox.

I really liked the 10x42 Zeiss Conquest HD's I looked through a few months ago. Retail is around $900 so if he gets deals I imagine you could get them for a few hundred less. I think they'd do everything you wanted them to do.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I checked out the swarovskis that you recommended ab though they look like they would probably be great their completely out of my budget. The vortex on fhe other hand I may have to consider. I have a vortex viper and love it so I assume their binoculars would probably be pretty good to.

Sully2 which models would you suggest.

Browninglover yes you are correct he gets them at roughly a 50% discount that's why I was thinking zeiss or b&l.

Zeiss with a 50% discount...wow. Several 8 or 10x Victory FL models to choose from, they are among the best glass available. Or save some money and get Conquest models in 8 or 10x and they will be outstanding as well.
