Best Hunting Scope for $1500-2000 budget?

Looking for best scope for basic hunting out to 500yards. Not looking to twist turrets, but would possible like to illuminated reticle.

Duralyt 3-12x56 illuminated #60 or Leupold vx6 3-18x50 CDS illuminated #4??? Any better choices?

Take a look at a Swarovski Z5. Out to 500 their ballistic turret is a great feature, or you can get a holdover reticle. They are light, very clear, and durable. It doesn't have an illuminated reticle, and I think the Z6's that do are over $2000. If that is a deal killer maybe look at a Vortex.
