I own a 16x42 MP-8 IOR scope, and I can say I did a right decision.
This scope is used for hunting at medium and long distances. I'm shooting at this power 16x for more then 3 years now, but for me is working great.
So I did some tests 2 days ago.
Me and my hunting buddy got out for some serious shooting.
His scope is a Leupod 6.5-24x50 with 30mm tube, mine IOr 16x42 with 30 mm tube.
We start shooting from 100 - 1200 yards, and surprising for me it was the leupi scope stops to see bullet hits (dust blowing) from bullet impact at 1100 -1200 yards.
With My IOR I could see it clearly..
First I told my buddy, he is blind or maiby he is tired, How could you do not see the hit?
But after we switch the rifles, I notices the problem it was his leupi scope.
The clarity of the lens, and the field of depth at that distance it was far behind IOR.
Just a fact what happened 2 days ago.
